In our social media-infused world, traditional marketing logic just doesn’t work.

So what works ?

1-Word-of-mouth or customer reviews count more than traditional marketing

2-Organizations should hire people — employees, agencies, consultants, partners — who come from the buyer’s world

3-Satisfied customers make the best brand advocates

4-Angry and upset customers have more chances to have their comments go viral

5-Manage communities on Facebook or other social networks by sharing non-promotional content

6-Tailor your content and messaging to the specific needs of your specific community. For example, if Linkedin is where your community is more engaged in discussion,  focus your time on sharing industry-related content and discussion on that platform.
